Valentine's Day

Happy Valentines Day,

I did do some updating not as much as I wanted to do.  I want to put some more pictures in, but I only have 30 min before the kids start arriving.  A lot has went on this week.  Michael is having a hard time as the 17th approches.  I try to help him as much as I can, but he is so private and I am so open, sometime I just leave things alone for fear of making it worse.

The kids were sick this weekend.  Only Mekala went to Church with me yesterday.  This morning a 4:30 am she was up crying and dad told her she could not go to school today.  That made her cry even more, no candy.  I told her to go back to sleep and worry about it a 7:30 am when she is suppose to get up, when she woke up she felt better, and told me she just prayed that she would feel better and would be able to go to school, and she did.

The Awareness Dinner will soon be here and I was blessed with a lady, I have never met, she only knows me from the site, she is taking the week of the 21-25 off and is going to help me with the Dinner.  Thank you Lisa, you are an answer to our prayers.  I also want to thank Afresh Anointing and Cindy for the ink.  I have decided to do some slide shows for the dinner I need to know how to hook up my computer tower to a TV so I can use the power point and the DVD.  Does anyone know how to do that?

Anthonys Grandma is doing a letter campagin to Oprah, make sure to email your letter info is on the Rhabdoid Research Page

Thank you all for visiting,

Love,

Julie

Good Evening Everyone,

Tommarow is Mekala's Honor Roll Asembly, so I figured I better work tonight.  I have gotten alot done.  The vote caster has questions relating to ATRT.  If any one ever has suggestions for questions to go on here, please feel free to let me know.  I am trying to get us to be able to add more than one link in the free for all links.  I was only able to add Rhabdoiod Kids.  The fourm is for questions you have for researchers.  Doctors will be encouraged to post answers on this site.  Rest assured if they do not post answers, I will make contact and post responses.  I hope to have a doctor or research center, or maybe both do live chats.  The time will be announced, and you can log on to ask your questions, also if anyone has any suggestions on some topics for this I welcome them.  I have added pictures to the photo album.

This week I will work on a support page, and getting links to other sites, and information about research at Columbia University.  I will also be trying to get donations for our awarness dinner, the foundation is actully in the red, so if I am going to pull this off I am going to need to seek out some help.  I have had only 2 people RSVP me to say they would help before and at the dinner, so if you were planning to help, but forgot to RSVP as a volunteer please do so ASAP.  We have got some donations of centerpeices for the Dinner, Thank you very much for that, and we have come up with another idea for displaying our stories, so we do not need the science project cardboard.  I also need help with stamps for our invations that are going out this week i had forgot to list that on the web page.

I hope this site becomes something that all of you will be able to use, and we will be able to collect information that will be able to aid in the research of this cancer.

I would also like to thank Dave of Rhabdoid Kids, He has not only put a link to this site under Emily's name, but also on the home page.  Dave is Michael's (the first boy on Rhabdoid kids) Grandfather.  He started  Rhabdoid/Angel kids and it has grown to be the main hub of where parents go to communicate to each other.  If it was not for Rhabdoiod Kids this site would not exsist.  I owe alot to Dave.  Thanks a Bunch  Dave!!!!!!

Love to you all and have a blessed week,

Julie Cook

This week I will try and get all the kinks out of this site and try and understand and be able to use all the features that we have here, and see how we can best use them to help those who come here.

Love,

Julie
